As a result of the governor’s line-item vetoes to the state budget issued Sept. 30, the MDHHS issued bulletin MSA 19-32, a proposed policy to discontinue the Rural Access Pool for small rural hospitals and sole community hospitals effective for fiscal year 2020, which began Oct. 1.
The Michigan Health & Hospital Association fully supports the fiscal year 2020 legislative budget that will make key strides in protecting and improving access and quality of care for Michigan residents.
