News to Know

  • The MHA Board of Trustees will meet from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at MHA headquarters, Okemos. The board will discuss a variety of policy matters including the future relationship with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, expansion of the association’s consumer transparency initiatives, and strategies to improve the MHA’s public advocacy messaging.   • The state of Michigan has replaced the Michigan Automated Prescription System (MAPS) with Appriss PMP AWARxE software, effective April 4. All requests for MAPS reports must be done through PMP AWARxE. Registration is open, and any questions regarding registration approval or policy can be answered by the MAPS support team at (517) 373-1737. Members with questions may also contact Paige Fults at the MHA.
