September Event Registration Open for Patient Safety Organization Members

Posted on August 25, 2017

Patient Safety Organization logoMHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) members may now register for two upcoming PSO events:

Hospitals wishing to attend the RCA² training must first submit certain materials to the MHA Keystone Center PSO. Further instructions are forthcoming for submitting:

  1. At least two completed RCAs, each no more than one year old, via NextPlane
  2. The organization’s most recent culture survey data

Both events will help members learn from errors and proactively prevent future harm. Safe tables provide a protected forum for sharing information to advance patient safety, while RCA² trainings lay the foundation for in-depth analyses of adverse events.

In addition, hospitals have the option of administering either the Safety, Communication, Operational Reliability and Engagement (SCORE) survey or the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s Hospital Survey on Patient Safety (HSOPS) to measure their performance. Organizations interested in administering either survey should complete the online registration.
