Meaningful Use Credit Available Through National Health Care Surveys

Posted on July 05, 2017

Hospitals and clinicians that participate in the National Health Care Surveys can earn credit for meeting a portion of the Stage 3 objectives in the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Programs (meaningful use). They may attest in 2017 to Objective 8 - Public Health and Clinical Data Registry Reporting, Measure 4 - Public Health Registry Reporting, by registering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics and signifying their intent to submit data to the National Health Care Surveys. Registration is being accepted via email from eligible hospitals, critical access hospitals, eligible professionals and eligible clinicians. More information is available on the CDC's website. Members with additional questions should contact Jim Lee at the MHA.
