Registration Open for Patient Safety Organization Annual Meeting

Patient Safety OrganizationRegistration is open for the MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) Annual Meeting, taking place virtually March 9 and 10.

The two-day event will focus on hot topics in healthcare, including implicit bias, health equity, opioid use disorder, maternal hypertension, and failure to rescue. Participants will also receive an update on the MHA Keystone Center PSO from Adam Novak, MA, CPPS, director, safety initiatives, MHA Keystone Center.

Members will hear from subject matter experts, including Robert Redwood, MD, MPH, FACEP, emergency department, Cooley Dickinson Health Care, who is a long-time advocate for mitigating opioid overprescribing. Dr. Redwood has worked with the MHA Keystone Center during the Midwest Alternative to Opioids program and will present on reducing the risk of opioid use disorder, overdose, and death. A detailed agenda will be provided closer to the event.

This event is exclusive to MHA Keystone Center PSO members, and registration is free. Continuing education opportunities will be available. Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center PSO.
