Webinars Explore Coronavirus Impact and Future Strategy

Posted on June 26, 2020

The MHA webinar series Leadership and Resiliency: Navigating Through and Beyond COVID-19, explores several mission-critical leadership qualities leaders need to help traverse this difficult time. The series studies six topics over the next several weeks; each session will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.

On July 9, Marty Makary, MD, Johns Hopkins surgeon and transparency guru, will present Update on Coronavirus: What’s Next and How to Plan. Makary will interpret the current data from foreign and U.S. studies projecting the coronavirus impact in the U.S. and will review best practices, transparency policies and how to deal with the epidemic in real time. On July 23, Jeff Goldsmith, president of Health Futures Inc., will present The Post-COVID Healthcare Strategy, which will outline the financial effects of an economic slowdown, current political uncertainties, and the threats of disruption by new technologies and competitors, as well as provide direction on strategies to consider now.

Members can register for one or more of the sessions for $99 each. Questions about the webinar series should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA.
