Infection Prevention Boot Camp Series Enhances Quality and Safety

Posted on June 11, 2020

The MHA is hosting a six-session Infection Prevention Boot Camp webinar series to provide hospital staff with a thorough understanding of how to create and lead a comprehensive infection prevention and control plan across units and disciplines. Each Thursday from Aug. 13 through Sept. 17, critical quality and safety processes and measures will be detailed by credentialed, expert faculty. All webinars will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. EDT.

The Aug. 13 webinar will outline the role and core competencies of the infection preventionist, the infection prevention and control requirements of various regulatory bodies, how to develop an infection control risk assessment and infection prevention plan, and how to evaluate an infection prevention program.

MHA members can register for $600 per line for the six-session boot camp; non-MHA members will pay $700 per line for the six webinars. Register online or contact Erica Leyko for more information.
