The MHA Health Foundation webinar Governance in the Time of Coronavirus: Responding to the Pandemic will outline a variety of specific policies and practices boards can consider adopting to stay ahead of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis curve.

Presenter Jamie Orlikoff specializes in healthcare governance and leadership, strategy and organizational development. He will outline prospective board authorizations for emergency spending and policy modifications, guidance on emergency authority between system and subsidiary boards, ways to facilitate emergency board meetings and decision making, and the role of the board in communicating with the community. Time will be dedicated to answer questions.

The webinar will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 17. The session is free of charge, but attendees must register to receive dial-in instructions. Questions about webinar should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA.
