Brittany Bogan Discusses Maternal Health on WJR 760AM

Mott Children's Hospital and University of Michigan Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital.

Bogan discussed the importance of improved access to postpartum care for mothers and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Healthy Moms Healthy Babies plan. Announced Jan. 29 during the 2020 State of the State address, the plan would extend postpartum Medicaid benefits for a full year for mothers, increase access to treatment for substance use and mental health services for mothers and expand access to home visiting programs.
