Posted on January 29, 2020

There are three weeks left to register for the MHA Keystone Center Implementation Science: Healthcare Improvement Certification Course

Healthcare professionals from across the state listen attentively during the inaugural implementation influencer bootcamp.Implementation science takes evidence-based ideas and transforms them into routine practice by breaking down barriers and finding effective ways to change behavior and improve results organizationwide. The program will take trainees through the framework required to facilitate the implementation process and achieve measurable and sustainable results.

The program consists of three parts, each of which is required to complete the course: an in-depth, online training component; an in-person boot camp event; and an online exam.

  • The online coursework will take approximately eight to 10 hours and must be completed before the boot camp event. This component introduces participants to implementation science frameworks and provides the necessary background for meaningful participation in the boot camp event.

  • The in-person boot camp will help participants set goals, learn how to execute sustainable implementation plans and evidence-based practices, and integrate tools into everyday practice. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 25 at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, Lansing.

  • Following the March 25 event, an online exam will be administered to participants. Upon successful completion of the course and test, participants will earn a certification in implementation science.
