News to Know

Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of Nov. 25:

  • The MHA Monday Report will not be published Dec. 2 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
     
  • The MHA Small or Rural Hospital Council will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at MHA headquarters, Okemos.
     
  • The MHA Quality and Accountability Committee will meet from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at MHA headquarters, Okemos.
     
  • The MHA Council on Children’s Health meeting originally scheduled for Dec. 6 has been canceled.
     
  • The Michigan State Loan Repayment Program (MSLRP), which assists employers in the recruitment and retention of primary care providers by providing up to $200,000 in tax-free funds to repay educational debt, will accept applications postmarked from Feb. 3-7 only.
