MHA Keystone Center Awarded Six-month HIIN Extension
Posted on September 21, 2018
The MHA Keystone Center, on behalf of the Great Lakes Partners for Patients (GLPP), recently received a six-month Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) contract extension from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. GLPP is comprised of a partnership among the MHA Keystone Center, the Illinois Health and Hospital Association and the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
The extension goes through March 2019 and allows the GLPP HIIN to continue its scope of work of achieving sustainable and significant reductions in multiple areas of harm. The quality improvement work will continue with an increased focus on opioid stewardship and addressing health disparities.
GLPP member hospitals are voluntarily participating in the initiative to achieve reduced harm and improve healthcare quality and costs. The GLPP HIIN regularly hosts educational opportunities, such as site visits, webinars and workshops to assist its members in their efforts.
Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center.
