Registration Deadline Imminent for MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium

Symposium logoThe registration deadline is Sept. 11 for the 2018 MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium scheduled for Sept. 18 and 19 at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. A preliminary list of registrants is provided on the mobile meeting app to help attendees plan to connect with colleagues and exhibitors during the event. The meeting app can be accessed online or downloaded to mobile devices on the iTunes App Store and the Google App Store. The event code to access information about the 2018 MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium is safety18.

General and breakout sessions led by national healthcare experts will address cutting-edge issues, including creating a sustainable safety culture, reducing violence and combating burnout. Speakers include Tejal Gandhi, MD, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Boston; Bryan Sexton, PhD, Duke University Health System, Durham, NC; and Rana Awdish, MD, Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.

A total of 7.75 nursing contact hours have been awarded for this activity by the Michigan Public Health Institute – Continuing Education Solutions (MPHI-CES). Additionally, this event is eligible for up to 8.5 continuing medical education credits, category II.
