As the MHA Keystone Center celebrates its 15-year anniversary, it is important to recognize how, collectively, hospitals have prevented infections and harm to patients, saved countless lives and avoided millions of dollars in healthcare costs. The 2018 MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium, Sept. 18 and 19 at Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest, highlights these successes and addresses the pressing challenges healthcare organizations must face for providing the best quality of care. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend general and breakout sessions led by national healthcare experts who will address cutting-edge issues, including creating a sustainable safety culture, reducing violence and combating burnout. Sept. 11 is the deadline to register.
The newly launched mobile meeting app for the symposium features an updated list of attendees and sponsors and offers other essential information about the event. This timesaving and convenient tool can be accessed online or downloaded to mobile devices on the iTunes App Store and the Google App Store. The event code to access information about the 2018 MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium is safety18.
A total of 7.75 nursing contact hours have been awarded for this activity by the Michigan Public Health Institute – Continuing Education Solutions (MPHI-CES). Additionally, this event is eligible for up to 8.5 continuing medical education credits, category II.
A team registration discount and the option for virtual attendance are available. Register for the symposium now or contact Janice Jones at the MHA for further registration information.
