MHA Excellence in Governance Fellows Graduate

The 2017-2018 class of the MHA Excellence in Governance Fellowship during its final session at the MHA Annual Membership Meeting.Members of the 2017-2018 class of the MHA Excellence in Governance Fellowship completed their work and participated in a graduation ceremony during the recent MHA Annual Membership Meeting. Eleven fellows graduated from the nine-month program that focuses on enhancing board member knowledge, skills and value.

With the graduation of this class, there are more than 150 alumni fellows in Michigan hospitals working to move their boards from simply effective to exceptional. The 2017-2018 graduates are pictured and include (left to right) Jan Garfinkle, Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, Canton; David Steinberger, MD, Saint Joseph Mercy Health System; Donna Doleman Dickerson, Saint Joseph Mercy Health System; W.
