The MHA Keystone Center hosted an event March 11 as part of its new collaborative on workplace safety. The event took a deep dive into workplace safety-related data and risk-reduction strategies. As follow-up to the March 11 event, a webinar will be held May 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. that will discuss how to collect, categorize and report data. Registration is free
and open to all MHA members.
Vicki Graczyk, system director of human resources services, Munson Healthcare will present on how Munson reports its Occupational Safety and Health Administration employee injuries by sub-category such as violence, musculoskeletal and sharps injuries. Renée Smiddy, MSBA, director of research and performance measurement, MHA Service Corporation, will provide an overview on the Keystone Data System and how data collection will operate for the collaborative.
