The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (GLPP HIIN), in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality and American College of Surgeons, is currently enrolling hospitals to participate in the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Safety Program for Improving Surgical Care and Recovery (ISCR).
The cohort begins Sept. 1 and is designed to improve clinical outcomes in colorectal, hip fracture, joint replacement and/or gynecology surgeries by adopting enhanced recovery practices. Participation in the program is free.
The GLPP HIIN, in conjunction with the ISCR national team, will hold two informational webinars to share more information about the ISCR program, such as participation benefits, requirements and implementation resources and tools.
The April 29 and May 6 webinars will provide the same information, so members can choose whichever option works best for their schedule.
Members who wish to join the ISCR program or have questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center
