The MHA Keystone Center will host a critical care simulation at Covenant Healthcare Simulation Center at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Saginaw to teach members how to drive improvement in ventilator-associated events, delirium and readmissions.
The hands-on simulations will demonstrate appropriate assessments for the A-F bundle, including pain, agitation and delirium, how to safely mobilize a critical ill patient and improving interdisciplinary rounds. Each simulation is approximately four hours in length.
Due to an overwhelming response, the MHA Keystone Center is no longer accepting registrations for the Oct. 2 simulation. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the wait list, and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
There is also a critical care simulation being offered Oct. 30 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.
Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center.
