Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network Critical Care Simulation

Tuesday, October 2, 2018

The MHA Keystone Center will host a critical care simulation at Covenant Healthcare Simulation Center at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Saginaw to teach members how to drive improvement in ventilator-associated events, delirium and readmissions.

The hands-on simulations will demonstrate appropriate assessments for the A-F bundle, including pain, agitation and delirium, how to safely mobilize a critical ill patient and improving interdisciplinary rounds.

Each simulation is approximately four hours in length. Members can register for a morning session (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon session (1 to 5 p.m.)

Space is limited to 24 participants per session and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. It would be preferred to send a team of critical care bedside staff (nurses & physicians) and respiratory therapists.

Registration is free and open to all GLPP HIIN members. Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center.
