The MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) will host a Root Cause Analysis & Action (RCA²) safe table from noon to 3 p.m. on Feb. 21 at VisTaTech Center - Schoolcraft College, Livonia. Lunch will be provided at noon, with the meeting beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Registration is required. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.
This safe table will build off the 2017 RCA² trainings and provide a more interactive approach to examining barriers and strategies for successful implementation.
Overall, safe tables provide a legally protected environment for MHA Keystone Center PSO members to discuss sensitive topics with regard to patient safety. The goal of the event is to provide a forum for members to share their experiences and consider applying the lessons learned from others.
Participants should come prepared to discuss a recent RCA conducted within their organization, along with any examples of barriers to implementing the RCA2 process.
