MHA members are encouraged to join the Michigan Association of Healthcare Advocates, the Michigan Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals and the MHA for Healthcare Advocacy Day, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Lansing.
Featured speaker Joan Brock will provide a poignant perspective and an insight into dealing with change, both personally and professionally. In addition, the MHA advocacy team will provide updates on the election and recent political and policy developments from Lansing and Washington, DC.
Registrations will be accepted through Sept. 15 for this opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers and meet with key legislators who will decide the future of Michigan's healthcare policy. Members with questions should contact Stacy Dowdy at the MHA.
